Pagans Special Day Spoiled By Mets Struggles

Pagan on Wednesday achieved two amazing feats by hitting an in the park home run as well as starting a triple play. But it was all in vain as the Mets fell again to the Washington Nationals 5-3. The Mets fell to 19-22 and to the basement in the NL East. Frustrating ahhhh. Hopefully Maine can actually pitch a solid game tommrow.

Mets 3 Braves 2

The Mets ended their losing streak monday night behind 7 2/3 strong innings from starter Mike Pelfrey. Barajas drove in two with a double early in the game and the Mets hung on with Franciso Rodriguez getting the save. Hopefully it sparks a turn around for the club.

Magic Fall at Home to Celtics in Game 1

The Orlando Magic failed to protect homecourt when they lost 92-88 to the Celtics. They were hammered all game before closing it within 3 with under 10 seconds to go. Ray Allen knocked down to clutch free throws to seal the deal.

Jenrry Mejia

With all the current problems within the rotation I cant help but wonder what if Jenrry Mejia had been sharpening his starting pitching skills down in Triple A instead of being used as a reliever with the big league club. With the demotion of Ollie to the bullpen and the injury to Niese today we could have called him up and given him a shot at something were dieing for: starting pitching. Well im waiting to see what we do next in the rotation and im sure well find out soon because Wednesday is Ollies day in the rotation and well likely see the new addition to the rotation then.

Oakland Raiders Offseason Updates:Bruce Campbell

Offseason for the Oakland Raiders and im just trying to stay involved. I watched an Interview with Bruce Campbell last night, guy is hugeeee and cant wait to see how he performs this year. A steal in the fourth round he said he didnt mind getting drafted so late he was just excited to find a place to continue playing football. Solid draft this year hope it carrys over on the field.

Mets Rotation Struggles Continue

Ok so I am a New York Mets fan and this afternoon I watched them get swept by the Florida Marlins. I just cant understand how the starting pitchers consistently cant make it past the 4th or 5th inning. YOUR A STARTER NOT A RELIEVER. With that being said it is still early so im not panicking but im very troubled. The only good thing ive seen is the offense is getting going a little bit the past two games.
